Once you have established a PIN for your card, activating it is simple. Use it with its PIN to complete a transaction or check your balance at an ATM.
Don't have a PIN for your new card yet?
Establishing a Personal Identification Number (PIN) for your new debit card is easy. Simply call SHAZAM® at 1-800-717-4923 and follow the prompts that guide you through the process. You will need to have your debit card and your Social Security Number on-hand when you call to establish your new PIN.
You can also change the PIN on your debit card at any time by calling 1-800-717-4923 and following the prompts to select a new PIN to replace the old one.

If you are unable to use your debit card after activating it, please give our Customer Contact Center a call at 1-800-445-5725 (1-800-HILLSBK):

Security is important.
When you receive a new card, please destroy the old card as soon as you have activated the new one.
Protect your PIN.
Your PIN should be a four-digit number that you can remember but no one else can guess easily. Never write your PIN on your card.
