For a name change, we will need documentation with your new name. Examples of acceptable forms of documentation include updated driver's license or state non-driver ID, marriage certificate, or court documents.
You can initiate the name change in multiple ways:
- In Person:You can stop by a Hills Bank office and meet with us personally.
- By Chat: Click the chat button on hillsbank.com or the Hills Bank mobile app for help during normal business hours.
- By Message: Log into Hills Bank Online and send us a secure message by clicking the Features tab along the navigation bar, then select Messages. Create a new message and select "Customer Service" from the drop-down menu.
- Over the Phone: Call our Customer Contact Center at 1-800-445-5725 (1-800-HILLSBK).
You will be asked to complete an updated Tax ID Number Certification and provide an updated signature. If you initiate the request in a manner other than in person, we will follow up with you to obtain copies of the necessary documents.
